The terms and conditions of booking that follow are the contract between the customer and Himalayan Pathways. Himalayan Pathways is a government registered travel company organizing trekking and touring programs in Nepal, Bhutan, and Tibet with a vision of offering quality, well planned, and reliable travel services.
Travelers are supposed to go through all the terms and conditions before booking. The issue of booking confirmation is based on the terms and conditions that you have read, understood and accepted below. Travelers are bound by such conditions after making the booking process complete.
This is a set of terms and conditions of booking that are used by Himalayan Pathways. Some of the terms can be different based on the destination, the local regulations, the requirements of the supplier, and the nature of a trip. Any differences will be explained at the point of booking.
Prices that are posted on the Himalayan Pathways site are administered and controlled by the company. They are not representative or binding of any other travel company.
The details of information and cost given on the site are grounded on several service providers. Himalayan Pathways will not be liable to false understanding as a result of misinterpretation of information on the websites.
In order to verify a booking, a traveler is recommended to phone the company representatives, or use the procedure described on our site.
To make a booking 50 percent of the total cost of the trip is required in the form of a deposit. Our team will also provide payment details in the course of correspondence.
The confirmation of booking should be done via written email. The advance payment will make the reservation sure and we start planning the trip including hotel reservation, permits, and logistics.
The balance is payable on arrival in Nepal unless otherwise. But the advance amount is required and this is paid at the time of booking. Otherwise, Himalayan Pathways is not obliged to confirm or hold the booking.
In the case of bookings via travel agents, full payment must be completed prior to arrival of the guest.
Any alteration of the initial itinerary can lead to a change in price. Any amendments will be made after considering the cost of the amendments.
Once a booking is canceled over 30 days prior to the trip start date, up to 75 percent of the amount deposited can be refunded, depending on the trip and services booked.
In the case of cancellation is done at 15-30 days before the trip start date, 30 percent of the deposited amount could be refunded.
Cancellations that are made less than 15 days prior to the commencement of the trip will not be refunded.
In other instances, hotels, permits, flights, or activity providers can charge more cancellation fees. These expenses will be charged off as recovery of services already made.
It is highly recommended that all travelers have extensive travel insurance that includes medical cover, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation and personal belongings.
Himalayan Pathways does not initiate any illegal actions, personal misbehaviors, or the problems within the areas of the agreed contract.
Every request, change, or special needs concerning travel arrangements should be written.
